My first editorial. During the recession more students want to go to community college than during good times. The district wants more money. But they should look to run more efficiently before going to the state with their hand out.

Despite increased enrollment over the last two years the budget has not grown accordingly. The district administration over the summer cut 120 classes, with 80 more to follow during the first week of school.
