Missouri Knights of the Ku Klux Klan v. Kansas City

Supreme Court overturned a distrcit court ruling that the Ku Klux Klan had the right to use a public access station.

United States v. The Progressive

The Progressive was going to print an article on how to build a hydrogen bomb. The Justice Department tried to stop them. The Supreme Court ruled that Freedom of Press allowed them to print the article.

The Pentagon Papers

The Department of Justice, under John Mitchell, got a restraining order to stop further publishing of the Pentagon Papers, stolen by Daniel Ellsberg from the Department of Defense by the New York Times. The Supreme Court ruled that the Times could publish the remainder of the papers.
